Rash Guard Compression Shirt Review

If you've been following along for a while, you've probably seen my posts about #operationgetridofbabybelly.  If your a bit newer around here, I'm working on getting myself into shape after having a baby, and part of that includes getting back into running, so getting to try this shirt was good motivation to lace up my running shoes!
I've seen a bunch of those fitness motivational pins on Pinterest  that say something about how running is cheap, all you need is a sports bra and running shoes.  They make me laugh every time I see them!  First of all, running shoes certainly aren't cheap and secondly, you need something comfortable and practical to wear.  I've had a hard time finding shirts that work well for running, so I was looking forward to the chance to try these Goddess Rash Guard Compression Shirts.  I have a whole pile of athletic tops that I've bought and tried and tossed in the reject pile...but seriously, folks, I think I've finally found one that works!
One of the first things I noticed about it was the unique stitching.  There are no seams under the arms. I tried to get a picture of it, but since my shirt is black, it was kind of difficult to see the details.  And a certain little baby girl thought I was putting it on the floor for her to eat.  This picture shows it pretty well though:

The two seams join together just above the elbow on the inside, which means when you're running there is no irritating seam for your arm to rub against!  This is what has been missing from so many of my shirts I've tried for running.
The material is a state-of-the-art combination of nylon, spandex and double flat lock stitching, and the result of all that is a super lightweight, comfortable, flexible shirt.  It's stretchy and moves easily, but stays in place.  I've used it while doing workouts that included things like burpees and mountain climbers, things I that usually have to stop and adjust my shirt in the middle of.  Not this one.

I'm looking forward to warmer weather when I'll get to try this shirt while swimming.  My daughter and I are planning on learning how to paddle board this summer, so I'm thinking this shirt will be perfect!  It has a UPF 50+ rating so I could just wear that and not have to worry so much about slathering on sunscreen to keep from getting sunburned.  Not to mention I wouldn't have to worry about it not staying in place when I fall off the paddle board into the water.  Because we all know I will ;)
