Baby Comfy Nose Review and Sweepstakes - (2/26)

I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

When I first started seeing these types of products on the market, my first thought was "eww!". But then I saw how they actually worked and I was intrigued. When I was pregnant with my 6 month old and making baby registries, I thought about putting a similar product on my registry, but then I saw that it required you to buy filters and decided against it. Just recently though, I saw the Baby Comfy Nose and saw that it didn't require filters, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It just so happened to arrive when my baby girl was sick. Poor thing was up multiple times a night because her nose was so stuffed up! Seriously, people..I got a lot of use out of the Baby Comfy Nose and was so grateful we had it!  I ended up even keeping it on my nightstand to make it easy to grab when she woke up at night.

The Baby Comfy Nose doesn't require you to buy filters, it has an egg shaped spot that you pull open and stuff with a bit of tissue (although I just used toilet paper and it was fine!). One end of it you attach the little nose attachment (it comes in two different sizes) and on the other end you attach a tube. Then you just place the nose attachment in the baby's nose and the tube in your mouth and suck out all the snot. It sounds gross, but it totally works! Just don't forget the tissue ;) Here's a video showing you how to do it:

"Baby Comfy Nose nasal aspirator uses your own suction to quickly and hygienically remove children’s nasal mucus.  Significantly more effective than bulb and battery aspirators because your natural lung suction is so much stronger.  The design of the aspirator eliminates any possibility of contact with mucus and germs.  Insert a tissue into the aspirator as a filter so there's nothing else to buy.  The unit comes with two nose tips: standard and newborn. Medical grade soft nose tip and mouth piece.  The mesh storage pouch keeps all the pieces together in the dishwasher, then hang to dry and it's ready for the diaper bag.  Three colors options are ideal for siblings and multiples.  BPA and phthalate-free."
It is also super easy to clean, you just take all the pieces apart, toss them in the little mesh bag that's provided and put them in the dishwasher.  Sound like a good product?  You all have the chance to win one! 1. Our daughter is 4 months old and is now sick for the first time with a little virus. I just nurse her extra and give her plenty of comfort through baby wearing and holding.
